Cooperation Protocol between our University and TURKSOY

A Cooperation Protocol in the Fields of Cultural Interaction, Scientific Research and Education was signed between our university and International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY).

ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev, TURSOY Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf and TURKSOY officials attended the protocol signing ceremony held at the conference hall of TURKSOY.

The protocol was signed to ensure cultural interaction and exchange among TURKSOY member countries, to do scientific research about Turkic culture, to conduct and develop joint projects in the field of education and training and to encourage mutual collaboration. Thanks to this protocol, Master’s and doctoral program students have been entitled to participate in various trainings as part of the educational cooperation and graduate education programs that the universities will offer.

TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev said: “This protocol is signed to support cultural interaction, scientific research and joint projects and studies in the field of education and training between two institutions. As TURKSOY, we are working hard to preserve, explain and transfer the cultural values of the Turkic World to future generations. This protocol will contribute significantly to strengthening joint studies between our institutions, sharing knowledge and experience and developing mutual understanding. Joint projects and scientific research between our institutions in academic and cultural fields will gain momentum by contributing to our educational programs with the meetings we will organize. I believe that this cooperation will be a turning point for the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic World to reach the large masses.”

Rector Altun wished the protocol to be auspicious. He underscored that our university was conducting effective studies in many fields through scientific and technological activities and continued as follows: “We are taking the first step of our collaboration with TURKSOY today, and we are giving the good news that this cooperation will continue. I would like to state that we will participate in research processes we will show in the joint studies that we will carry out with the Turkic World. In this sense, we will participate in cultural activities with the universities in the Turkic World.”

After speeches, ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun and TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev signed the cooperation protocol.
