AK Party Kayseri Deputy Dr. Murat Cahid Cıngı and ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun visited Kultepe Kanesh Kārum excavation site and received information about the excavation works from Prof. Dr. Fikri Kulakoğlu, Head of Excavation.

Deputy Dr. Cıngı and Rector Altun also visited the Kultepe Visitor Center and examined the old commercial agreements and written documents unearthed as a result of excavations.

During their visit, Deputy Cıngı and Rector Altun held a meeting with Prof. Dr. Fikri Kulakoğlu and the excavation team and exchanged views on possible collaborations to contribute to the works.

Rector Altun stated that the materials unearthed after the excavations made significant contributions to the historical and tourism value of Kayseri and said that ERU will always support these works.

During the visit, ERU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cevdet Kırpık and Assoc. Prof. Şükrü Dursun, Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism, accompanied Deputy Dr. Cıngı and our Rector.
