Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), one of the most prestigious ranking organizations in the world, announced the results of the World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025.

The QS World University Sustainability Ranking System evaluates the universities in the following 3 categories:

- Environmental Impact

- Social Impact

- Governance

While Erciyes University was in the 711-720 range among world universities last year, it succeeded in ranking 677th in the world this year, 10th in Türkiye and 9th among state universities in the ranking of 1744 universities around the world and 36 universities from Türkiye. In addition, in the sub-categories of the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability, it was ranked 577th among world universities and 8th among the universities in Türkiye in the Environmental Impact category. It also ranked 424th among world universities and 1st among the universities in Türkiye in the Environmental Research indicator within the Environmental Impact category.
