technicians and service personnel who can meet the expecta-
tions of the aviation and space sciences industry in our coun-
try with its infrastructure and knowledge in this field.

For this purpose, our Faculty continue its educational activi-
ties as Aircraft Electrical and Electronics, Airframe and Pow-
erplant Maintenance, Aircraft Engineering and Aviation Man-
agement Departments. In addition, the Department of Space
Engineering and Flight Training has been opened within our
Faculty yet no student enrolment is made to these depart-
ments due to the lack of infrastructure and teaching staff.
Our faculty is continuing its education and training activities
in its educational building with an area of 5000 m2, Practi-
cal Training and Scientific Research building of 3500 m2, an
aircraft hangar of 1125 m2 and piston and gas turbine engine
units on a 240 m2 located on the campus of Erciyes University.
