Moreover, some of our practical training is carried out at the
facilities of the Turkish technic, My Technic, Aircraft Mainte-
nance Center and 2nd Air Supply Maintenance Center Com-
mand.
DEPARTMENTS

Aircraft Electrical And Electronics
With the rapid developments in electronic and computer
technology, today, the performance of new-designed aircraft
is increasing day by day. The electrical and electronic parts
FACULTIES of an aircraft are vital for flight. For this reason, the mainte-

nance personnel who works in the field of Aircraft Electric-
Electronics must be well-trained and qualified. The purpose
of our department is to train educated, qualified and highly
equipped maintenance personnel in this field. Our depart-
ment provides training as an Aircraft Maintenance Training
Organization (SHY-147) authorized by the General Directorate
of Civil Aviation.

Every year, 70 formal and 60 secondary education, 130 stu-
dents in total, are admitted to the Aircraft Electrical And Elec-
tronics Department with the Undergraduate Placement Exam
(LYS). Educational activities in our department carried out by
14 teaching staff consisting of two professors, one associate
professor, seven assistant professors, a lecturer, and three
research assistants. In addition, lecturers from other depart-
ments of our university and from outside the university also
give a lecture in our department. Besides, our practical cours-
es are carried out at the Electrical And Electronics laboratory
of our faculty and facilities of Turkish technic, My Technic Air-
craft Maintenance Center and 2nd Air Supply Maintenance
Center Command. Our students perform 30 work-days intern-
ship in aircraft maintenance institutions or organizations such
as Turkish Technic, TAI, TEI, MyTechnic.
Our graduates; work as aircraft maintenance technicians in
aviation-related institutions and organizations such as Turk-
ish Airlines, Turkish Air Force, Air Supply Maintenance Centers,
my Technic and Pegasus, etc.
