One of the leading aims of our University is to enable the students to make the most of their spare time and to organize events related to fine arts and to ensure that the students participate in these activities. It is also believed that such participation is a part of education. Activities are organized in the fields of Turkish Classical Music, Turkish Folk Music, Pop and Rock concerts, folk dances, theater plays and similar areas. These activities are usually held by means of student clubs. In addition, among the activities of various clubs, there are events such as chess tournaments, bird watching trips, informatics week etc. Our university holds symposiums, panels, conferences, exhibitions on certain days and weeks, and also organizes Nowruz Festival, Theater Festival, Kayseri Culture and Art Week, Spring Festival and Summer Camps every year, as well as picnic, touristic and educational trips.

    Students spend very enjoyable times during Sports and Spring Festivals. They enjoy a week full of concerts, conferences and panels. Moreover, interuniversity theater festivals are organized, and a rich program of plays and talks by theater groups of various universities and famous actors and actresses is displayed. European Community Club students organize international winter festival regularly. Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, music and theater groups of various universities and institutions, as well as concerts of student groups, and special performances by famous artists are some of the events. Cultural and scientific journals are published in various faculties, schools and graduate schools of our university. Conferences, symposiums, panels and seminars that are organized are presented to the readers in the form of a book.

    Kızılay Guest House, which is located within the university campus, has 17 rooms with a capacity of 36 people, a breakfast hall for 50 people, and a parking area for 30 cars.

    The facility was established for the university staff to spend time in a comfortable atmosphere. Services such as Internet access, food, hot and cold drinks are provided. The parlor has a capacity to seat 110 people and is open 7 days a week.

    There are 2 daycare centers, namely Ay Day Care Center and Yıldız Day Care Center, which serve the children of our staff who are between the ages of 3-5. Considering the children’s ages, needs, areas of interest and developmental characteristics, the centers target an educational environment that will support the physical, cognitive, emotional, social and cultural development of children and that will enable them to express their thoughts and feelings creatively. Dining and health care services are provided in the centers.
