ACCESS TO OFF-CAMPUS DATABASES

Previously, access to Erciyes University's online database access services provided for academic studies were accessible only on campus.
In order for academicians to continue their research off campus , a proxy server has been set up by the Department of Computer Services . Through this server, online databases may be accessed by using your email address (example: sistem@erciyes.edu.tr) and password.

To use this service, please follow the instructions below.

Best Regards, (Department of Computer Services )

Please follow the steps below to access the proxy server.

WARNING:

** After accessing the databases, if you untick the option “Use a proxy server for your LAN” you will no longer be able to access the internet through the proxy server; however you will be able to access the internet through your own internet connection (ADSL, TTNET etc.)and when you need to access the proxy agent again you can re-activate it by ticking the option.** The proxy server monitors illegal activity through log mechanisms.
** If you need to change your email password, a proxy password will automatically become your mail password.
