Our university, which is one of the 10 research universities in Turkey, is among the
higher education institutions constantly rising both with its educational and research
opportunities and with its scientific activities.
Being the largest university in Anatolia apart from Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, our
university completed its educational and research infrastructure many years ago.
As a matter of fact, scientific research is carried out in every field from vaccine
development, to drug researches, from nanotechnology to stem cell, from energy
systems to agriculture in 39 research centers within our university.
Attaching importance to historical and cultural studies in Kayseri, a Seljuk city, our
university carries out activities worthy of the name “Makarr-ı Ulema”.
Our university which has a permanent place in the top 10 and top 5 according to the
success ranking in Turkey is among the top 500-1000 in international university
rankings.
Our goal is to raise the success rate of our university to higher levels and to contribute
to Turkey’s 2023, 2053 and 2071 targets with its knowledge and projects produced.
We should never forget that universities are not only educational institutions but also
innovative centers of knowledge that work and do researches for the development and
contribution of the city, region and country they are situated.
In consideration of these feelings, we will raise Erciyes University’s horizon and
development bar high. We will never compromise on research, knowledge production,
