The Success of Erciyes University in the UNI-LEAGUE Muay Thai Turkish Championship

The UNI-LEAGUE Muay Thai Turkish Championship was organized by the University Sports Federation of Türkiye at Mersin University between February 20 and 23, 2024.

Muay Thai Women’s Team of our university came in 3rd in Türkiye in the championship where approximately 400 athletes from 69 universities attended.

The achievements of our students are as follows:

In Women,

51 kg Dilara Sultan Arpacı / 2nd place in Türkiye

60 kg Ezgi Keleş / 1st place in Türkiye

In Division-A in Men,

63,5 kg Sercan Koç / 1st place in Türkiye

In Division-B in Men,

67 kg Süleyman Kaya / 2nd place in Türkiye

71 kg Muhammed Ali Gaygısız / 2nd place in Türkiye

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun congratulated the students and Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Behzat Turan, a faculty member at the Faculty of Sports Sciences and a coach of the students, and wished them continued success.
