FACULTY OF PHARMACY
FACILITIES
There are 11 research and seven student laboratories. Stu-
dents and research laboratories have the technical equipment
to provide needs for all departments. There are advanced
technology devices such as 2 UV spectrophotometer devices,
Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS), Multifunction-
al microplate reader, HPLC (High Performance-Pressure Liquid
Chromatography) within the Research Laboratories. In addi-
tion, cell culture, the development of drug candidates from
natural and synthetic sources are actively carried out in our

Pharmacist is a person, responsible in the field administrative-
ly and technically with full authority for obtaining medicines
and raw materials, physical, chemical, biological and toxico-
logical analysis in pharmaceutical and medical preparation,
recognition of the drug, ensuring quality control and stand-
ardization, drug delivery and delivery to the patient and at
every stage from the production of the drug to its consump-
tion in every field required by the pharmaceutical profession
of the usage, surveillance, and control of the medicine.
The Faculty of Pharmacy is the only faculty that gives its grad-
uates the title of “pharmacist” and brings all the basic knowl-
edge and skills they will use throughout their professional life.
While graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy have the right to
operate in all areas of pharmacy, especially community phar-
macy, hospital pharmacy, and industrial pharmacy, they can
continue their professional life as academicians in universities.
Our students are not only prepared for their professional lives
with contemporary pharmacy education but also have the op-
portunity to evaluate their extracurricular time through social,
cultural and sports activities organized by the university and
faculty to contribute their personal development. Our stu-
dents receive support from the faculty staff, primarily from ad-
visors and commissions in solving their educational and social
problems. Many commissions that operate for the students in
our faculty, especially the Graduation and Equivalence Com-
