FACILITIES
Our faculty has 33 modern classrooms, all with an internet
connection. 27 of these classrooms also have projectors and
fully-equipped computer laboratories. There is also a separate
internet room for students. Additionally, there are nine mod-
ern student laboratories, 46 fully-equipped research labs, two
fully-equipped conference halls, a study hall, five department
libraries.
A large number of our students stay in the state dormitory
which is close to the university and has a capacity for 1,464
students, or in the Gevher Nesibe Dormitory which accommo-
dates 1,584 students. Other than state dormitories, students
can also stay in one of many private dormitories and hostels,
or they can rent flats in the nearby town of Talas or Kayseri
city centre. Students have no transportation problems. In ad-
dition, successful students can stay in the Demir Karamancı
Science Site free of charge.
