A Remarkable Achievement by Our University at TEKNOFEST 2025: 12 Awards and 27 Finalist Teams

Organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), and with our university as one of its stakeholders, the results of the Aviation, Space, and Technology Festival—TEKNOFEST 2025 —have been announced. According to the published results, ERU students achieved success in many categories. In this context, 12 teams from our university received awards, while 27 teams qualified for the finals.

At TEKNOFEST, which was held between 17 and 21 September 2025 at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, ERU students returned with achievements in many categories.

According to the announced results, the GeneCarrier Team from our University won the First Prize in the TEKNOFEST 2025 Biotechnology Innovation Competition, University and Above Project Category; the ENRG-Soft Team won the First Prize in the 2025 TEKNOFEST Nuclear Energy Technologies Design Competition; the Quantum Team won the First Prize in the Blockchain Competition; the HAVTEK Team won the First Prize in the Helicopter Design Competition; the Kap-Cam Team won the First Prize in the 2025 TEKNOFEST University Student Research Projects Competition / Health Category; the MERGEN Team won the First Prize in the Model Satellite Near Space Category; the Volta Team won the Second Prize in the High-Altitude Rocket Competition; the DENT-ARMOR Team won the Third Prize in the Biotechnology and Innovation Competition; the Edu-poration Team won the Best Presentation Award in the TEKNOFEST 2025 Educational Technologies Competition; the Turna Bio Team won the Best Poster Presentation Award in the TEKNOFEST 2025 Oncology 3T Competition; the ENRG-Hard Team was awarded and Honorable Mention in the 2025 TEKNOFEST Nuclear Energy Technologies Design Competition.

27 teams from ERU students qualified for the finals in numerous categories, including:

ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun welcomed the academics, students, and students’ advisors who won awards in the TEKNOFEST competitions at the Rectorate, received information about the competitions, and took a commemorative photo.

Speaking with the students individually and receiving information about their projects, Rector Altun congratulated all students who participated in TEKNOFEST.

Emphasizing that they support all kinds of R&D activities carried out by students, Rector Altun said: “As Erciyes University, we participated in this year’s TEKNOFEST competitions with nearly 30 teams and achieved around 12 awards. We strive to provide our young people with all kinds of support. TEKNOFEST not only contributes to our students’ education but also significantly enhances their professional development through hands-on experience. We aim to further increase the number of teams participating in competitions in the coming years. We will continue to strengthen our support and wish these achievements to be beneficial for our university and our country. As a research university, we will continue to contribute to the fields our country needs and develop qualified human resources.”
