Those who successfully complete the program are awarded
the Associate Degree and Health Technician. Graduates can
work in University, State, or Private Hospitals and private clinics.

If those who have completed the Medical Imaging Techniques
program are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS)
conducted by OSYM; they can switch to Nursing, Nursing and
Health Services Undergraduate Programs.

Medical Laboratory Techniques Program
In this program, Health Technicians are educated to work in
the analysis laboratories of health institutions. The Health
Technician who will work in this field is the medical staff who
performs the medical analysis required by the physician re-
garding the condition of the patient in various laboratories
within the health institutions.

The duties of Health Technicians are as follows; Preparing the
examination material that comes to the laboratory for analy-
sis, distinguishing the emergency examinations and provid-
ing priority order, keeping the analysis material that should be
kept appropriately, making simple laboratory analyzes under
the control of the laboratory chief and specialist, preparing
standard solutions, paints and anticoagulants according to
their formulas, experiments, analyzes and tests placing mi-
croorganism cultures required for the preparation, preparing
samples from secretory fluids, cells, tissues and body organs,
preparing solutions and culture environments for analysis,
making the desired experiments, tests and analysis using lab-
oratory tools, recording observations, tests, tests and analysis
findings, reporting, cleaning laboratory equipment, autoclav-
ing, maintaining materials and devices, keeping them, ready
for continuous use, sampling in patient bed for analysis.
Medical Laboratory Techniques educating is two years at asso-
ciate level. Students receive theoretical and practical educat-
ing on topics such as operating devices used in hospitals, lab-
oratories and clinics and performing different analyzes. They
do hands-on educating during the year and in the summer.
