tion, monitoring, endotracheal intubation, making cardio-pul-
monary resuscitation and defibrillation, making the patient
ready for transport by trauma stabilization, applying Basic
VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS bleeding, assisting emergency delivery.
Life Support protocols, ensuring stabilization in broken-dis-
locations and sprains, controlling wound closure and simple

Health Technicians, who are educated as a versatile manpow-
er, also take the duty of ambulance driver by getting a driv-
ing license during the education. Those who complete the
program are awarded the Associate Degree Diploma and the
title of “Health Technician”. First and Emergency Aid Program
educating is two years at associate degree level. In addition
to theoretical and practical lessons, students practice in Uni-
versity and Education Research Hospital Emergency Depart-
ments, 112 Emergency Aid Stations and Command and Con-
trol Center communication units.
Graduates can work in 112 Emergency Aid Stations, 112 Com-
mand and Control Centers, University, Education Research
and State Hospital Emergency Departments.
If those who have completed the First and Emergency Aid
program are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS)
conducted by OSYM; they can switch to Emergency Aid and
Disaster Management, Nursing, Nursing and Health Services
Undergraduate Programs.
Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program

In this program, Medical Secretaries are educated to com-
pile, organize and present the results obtained in scientific
researches in various branches of Medicine and Health tech-
nology.

Medical Secretaries in this field are personnel who compile
statistical data on health, analyze them with scientific meth-
ods, report to related sciences, carry out communication and
correspondence services in medical units, collect information
and convert them into documents, and work in hospitals, insur-
ance companies, medical research centers and private clinics.
