The ERU Faculty of Fine Arts and Institute of Atatürk’s Principles and Turkish Revolution History organized a conference on the 110th Anniversary of the Canakkale Victory and a concert called “Canakkale Victory”.
ERU Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Cevdet Kırpık, Deans of Faculties, Directors of Institutes, Directors of Vocational Schools, academics, and students attended the event held at Sabancı Cultural Complex.
Prof. Dr. Cevdet Kırpık stated that nations have turning points in their history and explained that the victory achieved on March 18 in Canakkale is a turning point in our history.
Following the opening speech, Dr. İbrahim Bozbıyık, Deputy Director of the Institute of Atatürk’s Principles and Turkish Revolution History, delivered a lecture on “The Spirit of Canakkale in Its 110th Year”.
After the conference, a concert titled 'Canakkale Victory' was performed, conducted by Res. Asst. Ahmet Tolga Özdemir, a faculty member at the Department of Music.
The event ended after the presentation of certificates of appreciation.
