The ERU Rectorate held a concert, entitled “Veterans of the Century of Türkiye”, for retired academic and administrative staff.

ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Oktay Özkan and Prof. Dr. Cevdet Kırpık, Secretary General Prof. Dr. İbrahim Narin, Assistant Secretaries General Prof. Dr. Afşın Alper Cerit and Dr. Oktay Musa Kayırga, retired academic and administrative staff attended the concert held at Sabancı Cultural Complex.

Making a speech at the opening of the event, Rector Altun stated that they organized the event as a sign of loyalty to the retired staff and continued as follows: “In fact, what we always say in human life is not to be forgotten. We aim to organize such programs at certain intervals not to forget you. We are grateful to you for your service, efforts, and contribution to our university.”

Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Sözüer, a retired faculty member of the ERU Faculty of Medicine, said that he was pleased to participate in this event and thanked Rector Altun for his support.

The guests enjoyed the concert conducted by Conductor Samet Mutugan and performed by the Anatolian’s Voice Folk Music Choir.
