Philanthropist Emine Gökalp donated two hemodialysis devices, a portable handheld ultrasound, and a sensitive scale to the Dialysis Unit within the Organ Transplantation and Dialysis Hospital.

ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. İsmail Dursun, Chief Physician of Hospitals Prof. Dr. İbrahim Halil Kafadar, Deputy Chief Physician Asst. Prof. Şahin Temel, Head of the Internal Medicine Department Prof. Dr. Murat Hayri Sipahioğlu, Director-in-chief Özcan Özyurt, Hospital Manager Şerife Gürcan and the benefactor attended the ceremony.

Rector Altun said: “It is crucial for our university to receive support from the philanthropists. We are stronger with them; therefore, these contributions are really important. As an institution, we would like to thank you for your support.”

Prof. Dr. İsmail Dursun said: “I am a pediatric neurologist. We use the same dialysis center of our hospital. There has been an increase in our patients recently. Unless we renew our devices and follow technology, we face difficulties. Therefore, the contributions of our benefactors are very valuable.”

Prof. Dr. Murat Hayri Sipahioğlu said, “Our hemodialysis devices need to be renewed gradually. In this regard, benefactors provide support. Mrs. Gökalp donated two hemodialysis devices, a portable handheld ultrasound, and a sensitive scale to our department. I would like to thank her very much.”
