Within the scope of the university-industry cooperation, a consultation meeting on R&D was held by our University and Erciyes Anadolu Holding.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Oktay Özkan and Prof. Dr. M. Hakan Poyrazoğlu, Deputy CEO of Erciyes Anadolu Holding Murat Aksu, Dean of Research of our University Assoc. Prof. Gökmen Zararsız, Erciyes Technopark Director General Serhat Dalkılıç, academics and the executives of the companies affiliated to Erciyes Anadolu Holding attended the meeting hosted by Erciyes Anadolu Holding.

Making a speech at the meeting, our Rector gave information about R&D activities carried out at the university. He underlined in his speech that they attached importance to the university-industry cooperation and said: “These works we are carrying out together will contribute to our country and city.”

He thanked those who contributed to the organization of the meeting and also gave information about the newly-established R&D Park at the university.

He continued as follows: “These meetings are very important in terms of the university-industry cooperation. We also believe that good results will emerge as a result of these meetings.”

In his speech, Deputy CEO of Erciyes Anadolu Holding Murat Aksu thanked ERU faculty members for their cooperation. He said: “Erciyes University is one of the distinguished research universities in our country, and it endeavors to significantly increase the university-industry cooperation and its contributions to science with the support of our Rector and faculty members. As Erciyes Anadolu Holding, we are one of the most important groups of our country. We believe that the combination of these two forces will provide a competitive advantage for us, make it possible to carry out much more valuable projects and provide our university with opportunities for research and cooperation.”

After his speech, Lect. Orbay Şimşek gave information to the participants about the R&D Park at our university.
