PatentEffect has released the data for the "Türkiye's Patent Report 2024." According to the published data, our university ranked first among state universities in 2024 for the highest number of Patent Certificates awarded in Turkish (TR) Patent Registration Champion Universities Ranking.

Among the applications of universities to TURKPATENT to protect their inventions in Türkiye, an analysis on TR patent applications published and registered in 2024 was conducted. As a result of patent applications carried out by Erciyes Technopark, Erciyes University ranked first among state universities in the Turkish (TR) Patent Registration Champion Universities Ranking 2024.

In his statement, ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun emphasized the importance of protecting industrial rights alongside the scientific research produced at our university.

Stating that they were proud of being ranked first as a state university, Rector Altun highlighted the importance of patent activities as a result of the R&D studies conducted in various technological fields at our university. He noted that the activities in this field are a crucial reflection of the university’s mission to serve society as a Research University.
