TUBITAK 1001-UDAP Success of Assoc. Prof. Oğuz DÜĞENCİ
Coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Oğuz DÜĞENCİ, a faculty member at the Department of Civil Engineering/ERU Faculty of Engineering, the project called, “Development of a New Metallic Damper to Improve Seismic Performance of Buildings”, has been entitled to be supported as part of the 1001-UDAP National Earthquake Research Program Joint Call, opened within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between TUBITAK and AFAD. As part of this project, it is aimed to dampen seismic energy affecting the buildings with the metallic elements developed and to reduce the effects of the earthquake on buildings. Assoc. Prof. Hüseyin ÇİLSALAR from Yozgat Bozok University and Asst. Prof. Ertan SÜLEV from Nuh Naci Yazgan University participated in the project as researchers.
