TÜBİTAK 1003 Success by Prof. Dr. Alparslan YILDIRIM
The project titled "Development of a Nanofiber Wound Dressing Loaded with Lucilia sericata Larval Excretions/Secretions for Wound Treatment and Evaluation of its Therapeutic and Antimicrobial Efficacy with Integrated Methods," co-led by Prof. Dr. Alparslan YILDIRIM, a faculty member of the Department of Pre-Clinical Sciences at our University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, has been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 1003 Priority Areas R&D Projects Support Program, within the scope of the call for proposals titled "Traditional and Complementary Medicine (GETAT) Applications in the Management of Frequently Seen Metabolic/Neurodegenerative/Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Chronic Pain in Our Country." The project will be carried out in collaboration with Istanbul Medeniyet University, Selçuk University, and Klas Medikal, and the project team includes Prof. Dr. Önder DÜZLÜ, a faculty member of the Department of Pre-Clinical Sciences at our university's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serhat AL, a faculty member of the Department of Food Hygiene and Technology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, as researchers.
