Cooperation Protocol between Erciyes University and Kayseri Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office
A cooperation protocol in the field of probation services was signed between Erciyes University and Kayseri Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Kayseri Chief Public Prosecutor Habib Korkmaz, ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, Deputy Chief Prosecutor Ömer Demirgöz, Public Prosecutor Ahmet İhsan Koç, ERU Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Cevdet Kırpık, ERU Secretary General Prof. Dr. İbrahim Narin, Assistant Secretary General Dr. Oktay Musa Kayırga attended the protocol signing ceremony held at the conference hall of the Rectorate.
Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Kayseri Chief Public Prosecutor Habib Korkmaz thanked Rector Altun for his support in the protocol and said: “We hope that the protocols we have signed will contribute to the efficiency and acceleration of the justice services.”
Our Rector said that this cooperation protocol is important for Erciyes University. He continued as follows: “We think that our university has a brand value in social contribution processes besides its education &training activities and R&D activities. In this sense, it is crucial for our university to cooperate. I wish this protocol to be auspicious.”
Following the speeches, Kayseri Chief Public Prosecutor Habib Korkmaz and Rector Altun signed the cooperation protocol.
The protocol aims to contribute to the personal development of the convicts and ex-convicts under probation measures, to prevent them from committing crimes and to reintegrate them into society.
