400 students graduated from Departments of Aviation Electrics and Electronics, Aviation Management, Aircraft Airframe and Power-plant Maintenance, and Aeronautical Engineering.

ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, Kayseri Director General of State Airports Authority Enver Selim Akata, Dean of the Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics Prof. Dr. Nafiz Kahraman, academics, students, and families attended the graduation ceremony held at Erciyes Cultural Center.

Rector Altun drew attention to the importance of studies conducted in the field of aviation and space. He said: “We are pleased that our country produces its own satellite and our astronauts go into space for research.”

He underlined that the Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics has been conducting effective studies since its establishment and thanked academic and administrative staff of the faculty for their devoted works.

He congratulated the students and their families and said: “Continue to support your knowledge and experience with life-long learning”

Dean Prof. Dr. Nafiz Kahraman said that the graduates will have an essential role in the development of the country.

After speeches, İbrahim Eroğlu, the top student of the faculty, placed a plaque on the graduation log and made a speech.
