“Integrated Quality Management System Workshop” was held at our university by the Quality and Strategy Development Coordination Office.
ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, ERU Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Cevdet Kırpık, Vice-Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek, Secretary General Prof. Dr. İbrahim Narin, Assistant Secretaries General Prof. Dr. Afşın Alper Cerit and Dr. Oktay Musa Kayırga, academic and administrative staff attended the event held Erciyes Cultural Center.
Making a speech at the opening of the event, Rector Altun said: “Erciyes University is one of the distinguished universities in Türkiye that has been entitled to a five-year quality process. We have successfully completed the main evaluation process. In this context, it is among our fundamental duties to disseminate and improve institutional quality processes in our university.”
Rector of Ahi Evran University Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil said: “We focused on quality studies 10 years ago. Before the quality-related legislation of the Higher Education Quality Council was issued, we started to be interested in establishing the quality studies that started with documentation studies and internal quality assurance systems at our university.”
ERU Quality and Strategy Development Coordinator Prof. Dr. Mustafa Koçer said: “When we talk about strategy, three elements are crucial for us. The first is the organization of relations with the environment, the second important point is to achieve competitive advantage, and the third one is where to transfer our resources to achieve these. In fact, quality means the assurance of the elements that will achieve strategic goals.”
Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek, Vice-Rector and Quality Management Coordinator of Ahi Evran University, gave information about the “Integrated Quality Management System”.
Academic and Administrative Unit Managers, Assistant Managers and Unit Quality Representatives participated in the trainings held in four sessions in two separate halls.
Ahi Evran University Vice-Rector and Quality Management Coordinator Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek and Ahi Evran University Rector’s Advisor and Assistant Quality Management Coordinator Ekrem Öztürk held trainings on strategic plan management, process management, risk management, management of activity plans, performance management, satisfaction management and reporting within the scope of BKYS.
