The TRT Future Communicators Competition, organized for the 10th time this year, ended with an exciting ceremony where young talents were awarded. 180 finalists competed for awards in 12 different categories. 2,618 young people from 130 universities applied to the contest.
The owners of 120 works that made it to the final had the chance to participate in the Future Communicators Week. At the award ceremony, the winners received their awards from Presidency’s Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, TRT Director General Mehmet Zahid Sobacı and leading figures of the sector.
Eleven students from Erciyes University Faculty of Communication made it to the finals in 5 categories. In the competition, 7 students were awarded with 3 projects:
* Serpil Yıldız, Eylül Polat and Elif Öztürk won the second prize in the Communication Campaign category with their work entitled “New Generation Nostalgia”.
* Buğrahan Güçlü, Fatih Gökbulut and Turan Bayrak won the third prize in the Visual Broadcasting / Video Content Format category with their project called “Kültepe: A Story of the Past”.
* Fadime Şanverdi won the TRT Special Award in the Visual Broadcasting / Video News category with her work entitled “The Church of the Virgin Mary is confused about What will happen!”.
