Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, was commemorated at a ceremony held at our university on the anniversary of his death.
Our Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Oktay Özkan and Prof. Dr. Cevdet Kırpık, Secretary General Prof. Dr. İbrahim Narin, Assistant Secretaries General Prof. Dr. Afşın Alper Cerit and Dr. Oktay Musa Kayırga, Senate Members, deans, directors of centers, academic and administrative staff and students attended the commemoration ceremony held in front of the Atatürk Monument at the Rectorate Building.
The event, which started with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Atatürk Monument, ended after a moment of silence and the singing of the Turkish National Anthem.
