Our university held a sapling planting event on the occasion of Nov. 11 National Afforestation Day.

ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Cevdet Kırpık, Secretary General Prof. Dr. İbrahim Narin, Assistant Secretaries General Prof. Dr. Afşın Alper Cerit and Dr. Oktay Musa Kayırga, academic and administrative staff and students attended the event held on the university campus.

Making a speech at the event, Rector Altun thanked academic and administrative staff for attaching importance to afforestation.

He said: “Today is the Nov. 11 Afforestation Day. As Erciyes University, we have planted the saplings. Such activities are an effort to make our country greener. I thank everyone who contributed to the event.”
